2016 DPR Survey Results Released

On January 17th, at the ANC 3F monthly meeting, the city's Department of Public Works released the Hearst Park and Pool survey results. In the survey, the question was asked whether respondents wanted a pool at Hearst. The verdict is now in:

76% answered the question as YES TO A POOL!

1172 respondents took the survey, 78% of them reported they lived within a mile of the park, 73% identified as families.

As of this writing, the city has not posted the survey results on the DPR website, but they said they plan to do so in the near future. In the meantime, the release and discussion of the results can be seen here, in the taping of that ANC meeting, starting at approximately the 51:25 mark:

Looking forward...

The survey results, and the project overall, will be discussed at a meeting of the Cleveland Park Citizens Association on Thursday, February 2nd. FOHP will make a short presentation in favor of the project. Come along and learn more. And keep offering your input!
